Our principles

Bankia Symphony Orchestra is presented to society

The Bankia Symphony Orchestra (BSO) takes on the challenge of discovering the musical talent of high-flying young instrumentalists who have completed their formal musical education, providing them with continuous professional development and a gateway into employment.

Fundación Bankia and FPempresa launch 1st “Ayudas Dualiza” Call for Applications

Bankia Red Solidaria funds “Frailty Awareness”, a programme at Getafe University Hospital

The main goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of old age and the limitations it entails, stimulating empathy among younger generations and encouraging greater involvement.

Bankia funds 52 NGOs with €1.17 million to support job placement programmes for disabled persons

In 2016 Bankia allocated a total of 1.17 million euros to job placement programmes for persons with disabilities through 52 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) throughout the country, as part of its commitment to work closely with local projects.

The Eco-Efficiency and Climate Change Plan 2017-2020 sets out the path Bankia must follow in order to contribute to reaching one of the 21st century’s most important targets: carbon neutrality by 2050.

Tackling climate change

Climate change is one of the greatest threats facing society. The present and especially the future of the environment of our planet demands an effort of awareness on everybody’s part.

Enviromental risk managment

Bankia considers that its banking activity has a very limited environmental impact. However, the bank has a very significant indirect influence through the production activities and investment decisions of its customers.
