Update of the internet office for companies with new features

Bankia provides companies with instant communication by text chat with their manager through the internet office

Bankia provides its customers with instant communication via text chat with their manager through the internet office for companies. It is one of the new features introduced by the bank at this specialised online office for operations by businesses, SMEs, corporations and companies in general.

Through this text chat, included in the new communications timeline of the internet office for companies, the administrative staff or managers of the companies can communicate with their contact person in the bank, which will always be the same, to make inquiries or ask questions. In addition, the new feature can be used to attach files of any type, up to 50 MB in size, and to see the history of conversations and shared documents.

"We are certain that this feature will be very well received by the companies that work with Bankia, as it will enable them to facilitate their financial management and resolve, in a prompt and agile manner, any doubts that may arise. It is another step in our commitment to make the day-to-day lives of the customers easier, as we stated in our brand claim: “As easy as that”, says Manuel Pastor, director of Business Online Channels.

The new Bankia internet office for companies adds other features, such as the predictive search engine, which will make it easier to find account information and multi-device access, which can be used on any device (mobile phone, tablet, PC, etc.).

Simplify usual operations

Likewise, the update of Bankia On Line Businesses aimed at simplifying the usual operations of day-to-day business management. For this purpose, new features have been introduced in the start page, user activation, transfers and management of pending issues.

Thus, from the start page, you can see the most relevant information. Transfer operations have also been simplified, providing all the information needed to perform the operation on a single screen.

Likewise, companies will be able to manage their users and permissions in a simple manner, which will make it easier for them to register users and more intuitive to assign permissions to them to use Bankia Online Businesses.

One of the new features is that companies will be able sign pending operations in bulk, allowing greater agility and reducing management time.

"With the addition of all these improvements and new features, at Bankia we want to facilitate the digitisation and day-to-day operations in the companies Channel so that they can manage their business without having to go to the office", emphasised Pastor.

Companies are a strategic business segment for Bankia. At the end of the first nine months of the year, the stock of financing to companies increased by 8.7% (2.9 billion euros), which translated into an increase in market share of 7.53% (33 basis points year-on-year).
