They renew their agreement one more year

Bankia will sponsor Club Deportivo de Colegios Diocesanos de Ávila

The agreement, a continuation of the one signed last year, benefited from a total of 551 federated football athletes and the mini school for children.

Bankia has signed an agreement with Club Deportivo de Colegios Diocesanos de Ávila (Colegios Diocesanos Sports Club in Ávila) to be its official sponsor during the 2019/2020 season. The agreement, which follows on from last year, will benefit a total of 551 athletes from the various reserve teams of the football club.

The agreement was signed by Bankia’s area manager for Ávila Centre-North, Óscar Pérez Blázquez; and the chairman of Club Deportivo de Colegios Diocesanos, Alberto Mellado, at its headquarters in Ávila.

A total of 551 federated football players and the junior school for children aged three, four and five years will carry out their activities in the upcoming 2019/2020 season.

Bankia’s area manager of Bankia for Ávila Centre-North stressed that "at Bankia we identify with the values that sport represents, such as effort, camaraderie and teamwork". "For this reason, we are very pleased to reach agreements that, in addition to fostering these values, promote sport among the young people of Ávila, a province that is very important to us," added Pérez Blázquez.

For his part, the chairman of Club Deportivo de Colegios Diocesanos de Ávila pointed out that "the renewal of this agreement reinforces the commitment of both institutions to the promotion of sport among the children and young people of our province." "A commitment that goes beyond sport itself as this is an extraordinary tool for instil values in our athletes," he added.

"The club is shaping what will be the sports, social and cultural project for the coming years and, in this regard, having the support of Bankia gives us an important boost to confidently face these new challenges," emphasised Mellado.

The agreement aims to encourage the development and continued practice of sport in the following categories of federated football:

  • Primera División Regional de Aficionados
  • Liga Nacional Juvenil
  • Primera División Regional Juvenil
  • First Provincial Youth Division
  • Primera División Provincial Cadete
  • Segunda División Provincial Cadete
  • Primera División Regional Infantil
  • Primera División Provincial Infantil
  • Segunda División Provincial Infantil
  • Primera División Provincial Alevín
  • Segunda División Provincial Alevín
  • Tercera División Provincial Alevín
  • Primera División Provincial Benjamín
  • Segunda División Provincial Benjamín
  • Tercera División Provincial Benjamín
  • Primera División Provincial Prebenjamín
  • Segunda División Provincial de Prebenjamín
  • Tercera División Provincial de Prebenjamín
