The expected budget increases due to the quality of certain projects

The Dualiza Aid Scheme and FPempresa selects 44 Vocational Training projects in 15 communities

The evaluation commission has valued that the chosen projects are innovative, maintain a social relevance and are lasting over time.

  • The second edition of the Call for Proposals has allowed to increase the number of projects selected, the number of autonomous regions benefited, and the amount, which this year will amount to 407,000 euros
  • The head of projects of the Bankia Foundation for Dual Training, Juan Carlos Lauder, highlighted “the importance of this call for fostering collaboration between vocational training centres and companies, an essential collaboration to be able to meet the labour and training needs of tomorrow”.
  • The chairman of FPempresa, Luis García Domínguez, underlined that “by sharing successful projects and good practices, we will achieve quality Vocational Training aimed at the employability of students”.

The second edition of the Dualiza Aid Scheme and FPempresa has selected 44 collaboration projects from among vocational training centres and companies, distributed over 15 autonomous regions.

The interest aroused, together with the quality of the projects, has led the participating entities to distribute 407,000 euros, exceeding the initially planned budget of 400,000 euros. This increase has allowed to increase the number of centres that will receive aid to a total of 44, in comparison to the 36 selected in the first edition. Moreover, the aid will be more spread out due to reaching a total of 15 autonomous regions, instead of just 13 previously.

The community with most selected projects was the Comunidad Valenciana, with a total of 11, followed by Andalucía, with five, and Cataluña and the País Vasco, both with four.

Once again, the evaluation committee has taken into account that the projects are innovative and have social relevance; they encourage co-participation among various centres; have social impact; diversify the participating agents; establish coordination and communication mechanisms; envisage durability to provide long-term results; are transferable, and facilitate communication of the achievements.

The head of projects of the Bankia Foundation for Dual Training, Juan Carlos Lauder, highlighted “the importance of this call for fostering collaboration between vocational training centres and companies, an essential collaboration to be able to meet the labour and training needs of tomorrow”.

Lauder expressed his satisfaction that the Call “becoming more and more known and that it has found a place among Vocational Training centres as a pillar on which to develop projects of such educational and social importance”.

For his part, the chairman of FPempresa, Luis García Domínguez, confirmed the great acceptance the Dualiza Aid Scheme has in the training centres and has insisted that “FPempresa works to create spaces and proposals that foster relationships among centres, companies and the Administration. By sharing successful projects and good practices, we will achieve quality Vocational Training aimed at the employability of students”.

The selected projects, by autonomous community, were as follows:

  • Huelva. Colegio Salesianos `Cristo Sacerdote´. Augmented reality applied to acquire and improve professional skills transferable to the productive environment.
  • Málaga IES Pérez de Guzmán. Project aimed at improving specialisation: equine therapy, take charge of your life.
Aragón: a project in Teruel
  • Teruel. IES Valle del Jiloca. Organic vegetable garden and transformation of agricultural products into food products.
Asturias: a project in Oviedo
  • Oviedo. CIFP Sardinia. The hospital as a complement to the Integrated Centre.
Islas Baleares: a project in Palma
  • Palma. CIFP Son Llebre. Adapting soft skills to the VUCA context.
Islas Canarias: three projects in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas

Dualiza Bankia, Bankia’s dual training initiative

Dualiza Bankia is the brand through which the Bankia Foundation for Dual Training carries out all of its promotion and prestige activities regarding vocational training and dual vocational training, keeping in mind that it improves the employability of students and the competitiveness of companies. And it represents the commitment acquired by Bankia to the promotion of education as a way to improve society, combat inequality and promote greater social cohesion.


FPempresa is a non-profit organisation that brings together public and private Vocational Training centres throughout Spain. Since 2012, it has been working to foster and encourage Vocational Training through the exchange of experiences and good practices among the centres that make up the organisation.

Its objective is to give prominence to Vocational Training in the education system and to strengthen relations between centres and their environment. The commitment between Vocational Training centres and companies allows to improve the educational offer for students of training cycles and channels for their integration into the labour market.
