The second edition of the Dualiza Challenge kicks off

The registration period opens this December 10 on the website www.dualizabankia.com and will continue until December 21.

Dualiza Bankia, the brand through which the Bankia Foundation for Dual Training carries out all its activities for the promotion and awareness of vocational training and dual vocational training, the Bertelsmann Foundation, the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training, the Gredos San Diego Cooperative and the trade association CEIM have launched the second edition of the Dualiza Challenge.

The Challenge was designed to promote innovative initiative and entrepreneurial culture in dual vocational training students, encouraging creativity and research in dual vocational training processes; improve the quality of intern positions and enhance the innovative capacity of companies that work with dual vocational training students.

During the Challenge, teams comprised of students, teachers and company employees will cooperate to find solutions to the problems face by the company or find out ways to improve the company and new opportunities. Each team will consist of a maximum of ten people.

The enrolment period will start on December 10th on www.dualizabankia.com and it will continue until December 21st. The selected teams will be announced on January 9. Then, on January 15th and 16th, the Challenge will be launched and the teams will participate in an innovation workshop in which they will receive assistance to identify the challenge and determine the expected result.

Once they have identified the challenge, they will have until the end of May to come up with a solution it and present the results.

During the first edition, more than a hundred people took part in the Challenge, distributed into 16 multidisciplinary teams. The selected projects belonged to students enrolled in Dual Vocational Higher Education courses in 10 specialised centres in the Community of Madrid.

in the fields of electricity and electronics, mechanical manufacturing, mechatronics, installation and maintenance, computer chemistry, communications, administration and finance, children's education and laboratory.

All these projects were supported by professionals from 14 national and international companies such as Lidl, Gestamp, Unilab, Essilor, Ibertest, SGS or Hilton.

The participants of the first edition of the Challenge met for two days in "La Nave" - a space that promotes and encourages connection among all the initiatives in the field of innovation in Madrid- to receive theoretical training from professionals and advice on practical application through innovation workshops and teamwork.
